TUTCO CONDUCTIVE
Ultima Band Heaters

The TUTCO Ultima Band Heater is designed to deliver exceptional durability, making it one of the most rugged band heaters on the market. Its tubular heating element ensures consistent heat distribution at medium to high temperatures while offering superior resistance to contamination, corrosion, and vibration. Built with a heavy-duty stainless steel sheath and precision-welded end caps, the Ultima Band Heater is engineered to withstand extreme conditions. This robust stainless steel construction prevents distortion and deformation, common issues with other band heaters when exposed to higher temperatures.

Frequently Asked Questions
The stainless steel construction and MgO insulation provide excellent resistance to corrosion and moisture ingress. For extremely corrosive or chemically aggressive environments, additional surface coatings or custom materials can be specified to extend life and prevent premature failure.
The stainless steel sheath and precision-welded end caps give the Ultima exceptional resistance to vibration and mechanical stress. In applications with motors, conveyors, or other vibrating equipment, the heater maintains contact and structural integrity without performance degradation.
While primarily designed for cylindrical components, the two-piece (or multi-piece) construction allows the heater to conform to surfaces with minor irregularities or slight tapering. This flexibility improves contact and reduces the risk of hotspots, compared to a single rigid band.
The robust stainless steel sheath and MgO-filled tubular element allow the Ultima Band Heater to withstand repeated thermal cycling without cracking or deforming. This makes it ideal for processes where the heater is frequently turned on and off or ramped up and down, maintaining consistent performance over time.
