TUTCO DUCT
RMC Remote Control Panels
TUTCO RMC Remote Control Panels provide a centralized control solution for specific TUTCO DHD and DD Series electric duct heaters. Designed for applications where heater controls need to be located away from the duct heater, RMC panels house the contactors, interconnections, and other electrical components required to safely and reliably control the heating system. Panels can be configured to match the heater’s supply voltage, control voltage, phase, and staging requirements, providing a coordinated heater and control package for commercial and residential HVAC applications. RMC Remote Panels are available in several enclosure configurations, including NEMA 1, NEMA 4, and NEMA 12 designs for wall-mounted or free-standing installation.

RESOURCES
Frequently Asked Questions
RMC Remote Panels can support electric duct heating systems used for primary, secondary, supplemental, and auxiliary heating, as well as reheating and recirculating air. They can also be used with multizone and Variable Air Volume (VAV) heating applications when paired with the appropriate TUTCO duct heater.
TUTCO offers NEMA 1, NEMA 4, and NEMA 12 panel configurations. NEMA 1 panels are available for wall mounting, while NEMA 4 and NEMA 12 panels can be supplied in wall-mounted or free-standing configurations. A gasketed cover is also available as an option.
Yes. Supply voltage, control voltage, single- or three-phase power, and staging can be configured to match the associated TUTCO DHD or DD duct heater. This allows the heater and remote control panel to function as an integrated heating and control system.
RMC panels include magnetic control contactors and backup contactors for the heater circuits, a fan interlock, grounding lugs, and high- and low-voltage terminal boards for interconnection with the duct heater. The exact panel configuration is matched to the requirements of the heater and application.
A remote control panel can be useful when space, accessibility, environmental conditions, or system design make it impractical to locate all of the electrical controls at the duct heater. Moving the controls to a separate panel can provide easier access to electrical components while allowing the duct heater itself to be installed where it is needed within the HVAC system.
A TUTCO RMC Remote Control Panel is an electrical control panel designed for use with specific TUTCO DHD and DD Series electric duct heaters. It allows key heater control components to be located remotely rather than directly at the duct heater, providing greater flexibility when designing and installing the HVAC system.
